Responsibilities:- To agree commodity strategies and gain acceptance from business partners (creating a "flexible" supplier base)
- Prices negotiations
- Benchmarking prices from alternative suppliers
- Reviewing supplier performance against cost, quality and delivery
- Resolving major supplier quality and delivery issues
- Managing a portfolio of suppliers and ongoing cost reductions
We require:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OEM, FMCG, component purchasing
- University degree (technical or economical)
- Fluent English
- Proven/ measurable track record in negotiation
- Familiar with aspects of Six Sigma, Kaizen, Supplier Development
- Understanding/ interpretation of open book costing and financial analysis
- Influencing skills
- Relationship management
- Sense of urgency
- Driving licence B
